Description
The 1936 Chevrolet survivor.
One of my favourites, this local Gympie car is left in its untouched, original order and makes the perfect centrepiece for a rustic or survivor display.
This vehicle started life as a four door tourer (itself a rare Holden built body from 1936). It then underwent a professional ute body conversion sometime in the same period, which was quite common for Australia and especially Queensland at the time.
You can always go out and find a restored vehicle to buy but finding one that displays its 86 years is much more difficult. The pictures really tell the story.
As is $20,000 including GST.
It won’t drive away, but shipping with Roadside Relics is easy, with Doug’s Freight making regular North/South runs between Adelaide and Townsville, serving most major coastal cities (diversions off the beaten path welcome for extra $)!
